
According to data from the mayor’s office, over 92 percent of the city’s workforce had received at least one dose as of Tuesday evening — up from 84 percent on Oct. 20, when De Blasio announced the policy affecting 160,500 city employees, including those in the New York police, fire and sanitation departments. About 140,000 other city workers — mostly employees of the city’s hospitals and schools — faced earlier vaccination mandates.
